Volvo xc70 3.2 reviews

Hi Rodrigo, it’s been a long time… this car is not giving you good results, it’s not normal what happened to it, and even less so with those km… the turbo is cheap to repair (although cracking a LPT with 142k km is the next to rare) but the priority would be to know what happens to cylinder 4 …. I would first test to see if the problem is valve or piston/ring problem. If it is a valve problem go ahead with the headlights, and incidentally advance the distribution, if it is a stuck ring you solve it with a seafoam or something similar, but if it is a cylinder or piston I would already consider other things.

Volvo s60 problems

Well, looking forward to seeing how your steering problem is resolved. I think there are several posts regarding noises in steering, steering shafts, etc. As for increased consumption, I can’t think of anything. I recently changed the timing belt and the car is still at the same average as always. Have you changed air filters, diesel filters?

With 200,000km you will fail and / or have to change a few things like every neighbor son (you are in the middle of the life of the car, you have to rebuild part) these cars are like that, but it should have nothing to do with changing the belt (as arial 1 says you should also have changed the auxiliary belt and tensioners).

Alternator, bearings, ball joints, wishbones, shock absorbers, shocks, silent blocks, all that eventually fails, do not complain that you come all at once, it could have come earlier, and the increase in consumption by less than 5%, boy I do not know, cars with age walk less and therefore spend more …

Volvo s80 problems

whenever i drive the car the consumption is always around 7/7,5l. it drives 250km in highway at the weekend and the rest of the week i drive in Oporto (many times only in the city). in highway the maximum it made was 9l, but i think it’s because of unorthodox driving. recently they went to Trás-os-Montes, drove normally, and made 6,5l (or half tank 650km).

I don’t know if they break down. however, it is a mechanical part like any other. add to this, we have the fact that the changes are made by electro-valves, which are parts that can break down, but I don’t think you should worry.

Opinions volvo xc 70

I have read you a lot and I know that the D5 engines are very good and reliable. And that in the XC70 there can be problems in the front axle and with the automatic transmission (which many users have never changed the oil). But, beyond this, I am a sea of doubts.

– The clutch cylinders of the manuals have also given their war. Cases are known and some of them, recidivists (tell it to poor Volvocannondale, who removed the car after three breaks).

As for the seat, I personally would look for another car, sure there are for the same price with better care seats, besides I do not know how much it would cost to fix that seat, but you must add it to the cost of the vehicle.

They look good to both, I know I am not objective, but I like much more the beige leather, for me there is no color with a black interior, it seems to be more equipped, the front seats are seen in good condition and the exterior looks more careful if you look at the rear protector the 2007 is more touched, the rear seats on the other hand are seen more punished. On the downside, being a 2005, it has a 5 speed gearbox. The 2007 I would only choose it for having the 6-speed gearbox, in everything else I like the 2005.
